What’s open and closed: June 30 and July 1
Carleton University will be officially closed for Canada Day July 1 and most offices will be closed on June 30 for Appreciation Day for Carleton employees. Essential operations, including registrations and admissions, residences and security services, will remain open.
Hours of operation for Food Services, MacOdrum Library and Athletics Facilities on June 30 and July 1 are as follows:
Catering services
On June 30, the catering service hours will remain unchanged.
On July 1, all food options except the cafe will be closed on campus. The café will maintain its normal opening hours.
MacOdrum Library
On July 30, the library will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for study space, circulation of physical materials, and the research office will be open. Curbside pickup will be available. Services for the ILL, reserves and accessibility services will be closed.
On July 1, the library will be closed.
Athletics
On June 30, campus athletics facilities will maintain normal hours.
From July 1 to July 3, the hours of operation for the fitness centre, swimming pool and cooler are as follows:

Friday July 1: Closed
Saturday July 2: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday, July 3: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Swimming pool
Friday July 1: Closed
Saturday July 2: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, July 3: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cooler
Friday July 1: Closed
Saturday, July 2: 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday July 3: 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
