Sundays on State Street returns in July with 250 artists, businesses, workshops and more
DOWNTOWN — Loop Alliance’s Sundays on State events return to downtown this summer.
The events will feature dozens of artistic, cultural and culinary opportunities, among others, according to a press release from the Chicago Loop Alliance. They run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 24, August 7 and 21, and September 4 on State Street between Monroe and Lake. Free entry.
There will also be musical and dance performances featuring blues, house, soul/funk, classical, reggaeton, ballet and hip hop, depending on the Chicago Loop Alliance.
According to the Chicago Loop Alliance, nearly 80% of business owners who will sell their products at this year’s Sundays on State belong to underrepresented groups, including women, minorities, veterans, people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
